Paul & Ginny Beaudry

The Heart of a Volunteer...And, NOW Employees!

Eight years ago, our niece Maria was recruited to be a counselor at Camp Echoing Hills from a Christian Navigator’s Group at Kent State University. We went to visit her and volunteered a couple of days during camp. We immediately felt the presence of God and the love of Christ. We met a camper named Alice who knew the love and joy of Christ and wanted to make sure everyone else knew it too. She would say, “Do you know how much God loves you?” Then she would wheel around camp in her chair looking for someone else to share Jesus with.

God has brought us to camp every year since and we love it here. We have been blessed to be joined by teens and adults from our church to minister alongside us. Our church teens keep in touch with campers by texting them. Ginny's recent retirement from Carter Lumber Company in Brimfield, Ohio has now freed us up to extend our stay at camp. God's love and prayer made it easy to say Yes! Yes – Lord Yes!

At the end of February, Paul and Ginny will begin the next chapter of their lives in Warsaw at Camp Echoing Hills as Camp Parents. Their responsibilities will be hospitality – meeting and greeting groups as they come to spend time here throughout the year. During camp they will open their home to volunteer staff and summer staff for mentoring and sharing the love of the Lord. Additionally, Ginny will be working in the office part-time handling camper applications, camperships and waivers. They will be the heart of camp, and we are blessed to have them join our ministry in this capacity.
